I must not make a joke about Death Cab for Cutie's eight minute video winning Best Editing (It's a good video and a good song, but that joke just writes itself).

@2ironic4u: Well if you want to go by charts:
Snow Patrol has 1 US Top 40 hit ("Chasing Cars", #5, with another, "Signal Fire", hitting the Top 100) and six Modern Rock hits ("Spitting Games", "Run", "Chocolate", "You're All I Have, "Hands Open" and "Chasing Cars")
Keane, meanwhile have no US Top 40 hits (although two - "Somewhere Only We Know" and "Is It Any Wonder?" hit the Top 100) and two Modern Rock hits (again, "Somewhere Only We Know" and "Is It Any Wonder")
So i'll have to go with Snow Patrol, there.
I always hate that Snow Patrol is considered a "ballad" band because of "Chasing Cars".

Also, if they're not a Britpop band...then they're either an indie rock band or an alternative rock band which despite being my favorite genres of music are just as meaningless as the term "Britpop".

This won't stop "The Drowners" and "Animal Nitrate" from appearing on Britpop compelations and nightclub's Britpop theme night playlists until the universe collapses in on itself.

Fails for not having "Flood" by Jars of Clay, the single best CCM song of the past 25 years (mostly because it's the only CCM song in history to hit Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks AND be produced by Adrian Belew.

I actually do like to think of the Triple A chart as a compliment to the Modern Rock chart.
